how does one create a in home flight simulator ?

I want to be a professional pilot but I am looking for some schools and I still can’t seem to find out which one is better than the other. I want a school that has a good reputation and high success rate for their students. The school doesnt have to be located in toronto, the surrounding suburbs are just fine.
Also, is Toronto Airways a good flight school?

For the first time, last week, I flew on a Continental 777 flight to London, and saw people with one and two bars on their shoulders and sleeves. I thought they might be for a change of crews, but if so why would they only have the one or two bars if they fly about the same amount of time?

I understand that for navigational purposes, pilots have to use flight computers to calculate various things.

What is a flight computer capable of and is it easy to use?
